Concrete Testing
CCG provides a comprehensive testing service in relation to fresh and hardened concrete. We can offer full support to construction projects including:
  • Cube mould hire services;
  • On site attendance at pours for cube making and/or workability testing and/or air content testing;
  • Cube collection service (with pour identification);
  • Laboratory storage and curing;
  • Compressive strength testing;
  • Reporting.
We are UKAS accredited for the compressive testing of cubes.

For larger projects where site batching is used or for ready mix concrete producers we offer full quality control services based on CUSUM systems, monitoring strength trends and controlling statistical compliance by variations in cement content and/or production operations.

Auditing services are offered to concrete producers in respect of constituent materials quality, concrete production, and technical record keeping.

Specialist services are offered in mix design covering normal concrete mixes and concretes requiring specific properties such as “pumpability” or controlled setting times – e.g for slipforming works.

We can assist producers in all aspects of achieving EN206 Conformity.
