CCG are well experienced in all facets of undertaking Landfill Gas Studies, from designing appropriate monitoring and sampling programmes, installing monitoring points, measuring gas composition and flow level and finally to modelling gas data and performing detailed landfill gas risk assessment.
We have been involved in assessing potential risks from landfill and ground gasses across a wide and varied spectrum of sites including former gas works, chemical and industrial plants, infilled quarries, mine workings, former MoD facilities, petrol stations, peat bogs and various Brownfield redevelopment sites throughout the UK.
Upon completion of the landfill gas risk assessment, where necessary, CCG
are able to advise the client on appropriate levels of remedial action, and liaise with the regulatory authorities in order to agree the scope and validation of remediation measures.
Where remedial action is warranted, in order to satisfy regulatory requirements, independent validation of the installation/integrity of protective measures is usually necessary. CCG
are well versed in the preparation of such validation reporting and have provided independent certification to both simple and complex gas protective solutions.
CCG
are able to provide long-term compliance testing and monitoring of ground gasses and air quality at landfill waste and industrial sites, preparing and submitting factual/interpretative reporting as required by the Client/Environment Agency/other regulatory bodies within Construction and Civil Engineering.
The team at CCG
comprise of professionally qualified engineers, and scientists supported by an experienced field installation crew and technical monitoring staff. We own and operate only first class monitoring instrumentation rigorously maintained and calibrated thus ensuring confidence and reliability of acquired data.
